20 March 2004Subject: Altenpflege 2004 fair - decubitus prophylaxis with the Völker MiSŪ Micro-stimulation System. After last year's presentation of the Völker MiSŪ Micro-stimulation System at the Altenpflege fair, the system in this year again caused positive response at the Völker exhibition stand. It is a pressure reduction system that has been developed in cooperation with Thomashilfen and IGAP (Institute for Innovation in Health Care and Related Research) to prevent pressure sores. It is available as standard with all Völker healthcare and hospital beds. With the Völker MiSŪ Micro-stimulation system, the lying surface of the bed is made up of many butterfly springs. The butterfly springs are made of Polyoximethylen (POM), a recyclable plastic with high elasticity and natural stability.read more |
