Benefits of Völker Healthcare Beds.

Until 1991, the market was basically dominated by only one type of healthcare bed. It was actually a "slim" version of a hospital bed made of steel tube with a brown varnish and partly with timber lining for the more upmarket versions. Those healthcare beds had major drawbacks making it more difficult for the resident to stay in bed and thus impairing the work of caregivers when providing nursing procedures at and around the bed.

When Völker put the first model of a new generation of healthcare beds on the market in 1991, it had been manufactured in a completely new design following a drive to break away from all technical conventions. And the pick of the bunch is that we have managed to transform the weak spots of conventional healthcare beds into benefits for the well-being of patients thus enabling them to live a more dignified life. This also supports care giving, because satisfied residents make the provision of medical care also more pleasant.
